How Share Studio came to be.
My name is Aysha [aye-shh-uh] and I am the sole owner of Share Studio. I am 22 years old from Washington, and pretty much always have an accessory in my hair. Every item is hand made or sourced by me, along with all the social media content, finances, customer service, production and shipping. Yep, I handle it all!
Share Studio was created in my intro to business class as a group project in 2019. We created the name “share” for a couple reasons. The first reason is that we share a portion of our profits to charity, we also envisioned creating scrunchies that were so good you just had to “share”.
As Share Scrunchie became my creative outlet, I decided to extend this business outside of the classroom and have since extended into embroidered and printed apparel, along with other fun home gifts and accessories.
This brand was built to be so much bigger than just hair accessories, that’s why we donate a portion of profits to the Gleason foundation for ALS https://teamgleason.org
A couple years ago, my boyfriend’s mom was diagnosed with ALS. It opened me up to a world of people struggling with this disease, and through this small business, I hope to make some difference in the lives of people living with ALS and their families.
