When I saw these clips come across my YouTube Shorts feed, I have to admit I was skeptical. I'm usually the type to look up reviews and similar products before deciding what to buy, and I'd never used clips like these before. But I also have thick, wavy-curly, waist-length Desi hair that I need to put up between wash days. My go-to is a bun and a well-placed hair stick, but I've been trying to find a new updo for a while now that wouldn't take half an hour to get a decent hold. So despite not being totally sure, I bought my favorite colors and crossed my fingers.
And let me say... what a rewarding experience!!! The clips work exactly as advertised. Granted, I already have experience doing French twists and knew exactly the problem this was supposed to solve -- if you're not used to troubleshooting your hairstyle you may need to adjust your process a bit! I have to tuck in a LOT of hair, for example, and clip with my left hand because I habitually roll my twists right-to-left. But they're really great clips that so far have survived a lot of head-shaking and house-cleaning nonsense on my occasionally 16-hour days. Also great -- I have EDS and early-onset arthritis, and these do NOT require Olympic-level grip strenth to open!! What a game changer. I will definitely be sharing these and eyeing Share Studio's other products, and would totally buy hair sticks and bun accessories from this company as well if they end up making some!!
